WELCOME

to the STEM Fair toolkit,

provided by Intel and the British Science Association.

This tool has been provided to help you think through what you need to do so that you can take part in STEM fairs, or maybe have a go at organising one of your own.

The toolkit has been split into sections so that you can dip in and out of it when you need to. You may want to go through all of it, you may find that only a couple of sections are useful to your circumstances. Each section is complete in itself so don’t feel that you have to start at the beginning and slog your way through to the end.

There is an action plan section so that if you think of anything interesting, or there are points in the toolkit that you want to put into practice you can skip to the action plan and make a note of it, then return to where you were. Tick modules off when you feel you have completed them so you know where to start from next time. When you have finished everything you will be able to print it out and put it into action!

There are also some quizzes and exercises for you to do. You will be able to print out all of these from the action plan section so that you can get on with the serious business of enjoying yourself at a STEM fair.
